All metacontainers can be viewed or acted upon, and new metacontainers can be created. The page provides filtering functionality to find specific metacontainers and/or build a worklist.

The filter on the Metacontainers tab limits which metacontainers appear in the table. This filter is used to find specific metacontainers based on the defined filter criteria or can be used to build a worklist. If no filter is defined, all non-disposed of metacontainers are displayed in the table.

While this aliquot is not recorded on the order in the system, it might be necessary to track the storage of this additional container. This is done by creating an additional trackable instance of the sample on the Sample Inquiry Pop-up This additional trackable instance is associated with the same sample ID, but can be transferred and disposed of separately from the primary sample. |
