The Routes tab allows you to create or view unassigned tasks, as well as create and organize route groups for a specific period of time, to maximize the effectiveness of your couriers.

Unassigned Tasks

The left side of the Routes tab displays Unassigned Tasks. These are tasks that have been created but not yet assigned to a courier's route group.

Each unassigned task is listed with the type of task, the client requesting the task, and the date the task was requested.

Select the column headers to sort the list of items by the selected column.

To remove tasks from this list, simply add them to a route group.

Show Pending TasksSelect the checkbox to display pending tasks in the unassigned tasks list table.
Show Completed TasksSelect the checkbox to display completed tasks in the unassigned tasks list table.
Add New Task

Select to add a new task. Select the type of task you want to create from the drop-down list:

  • Pickup: Opens the Edit Pickup pop-up. Fill in the fields with the information for your new task. See Edit Pickup Pop-up.
  • STAT Pickup: Opens the Edit Pickup pop-up, where you can define a STAT pickup task using the same process as creating a Pickup task (see above). The STAT checkbox is automatically selected. Note that if you clear the STAT checkbox, your system will treat the pickup as a standard Pickup. See Edit Pickup Pop-up.
  • Shipment: Opens the Ship Supplies pop-up, where you can edit and add information for your new shipment task. See Ship Supplies Pop-up.
Show __ entries

If there are multiple pages of tasks, use the paging controls at the bottom of the section to navigate through the list, either by selecting the arrow buttons (forward, backward, beginning, end) or by entering a specific page number. Adjust the Show __ entries value to increase or decrease the number of tasks to show per page.

TypeDisplays the type of task. Select the link in this column to edit the task via the Edit Pickup pop-up or the Ship Supplies pop-up, depending on which type of task it is. See Edit Pickup Pop-up or Ship Supplies Pop-up.
Client NameDisplays the client requesting the task.
Client IDDisplays the ID of the client requesting the task.
Date (EST)Displays the date the task was requested in Eastern Standard Time.


Route Groups

The right side of the Routes tab displays Route Groups, which are collections of one or more routes, combined to a single list for completion by a courier.

Show Pending Route GroupsSelect the checkbox to display pending route groups in the route groups list table.
Show Completed Route GroupsSelect the checkbox to display completed route groups in the route group list table.
Filter Clients

Select in or enter text into the search-as-you-type field to search for and select a client to narrow the route group list.

Show __ entriesIf there are multiple pages of route groups, use the paging controls at the top or bottom of the route group list to navigate through the list, either by selecting the arrow buttons (forward, backward, beginning, end) or by entering a specific page number. Adjust the Show __ entries value to increase or decrease the number of route groups to show per page.
Add New Route Group

Select the button to add a new route group via the Edit Route Group pop-up. See Edit Route Group.

Name

Displays the name of the route group. Select the name link to display a pop-up menu where you can choose from the following options:

  • Edit: Select to edit the route group. You can edit by Pop-up View or Tree View
    • Pop-up View: Select to edit the route group via the Edit Route Group pop-up. See Edit Pickup Pop-up.
    • Tree View: Select to edit the route group by using the tree view. Drag and drop to assign tasks and select the checkboxes to complete routes or tasks individually or in bulk. You can mark all tasks within a route group complete by marking the group itself as complete when using the Tree View. Select < Back to Route Group List to return to the route group list. 
  • Print Report: Select to print the report via the Route Report Options pop-up, where you can configure report options. Use the Select column to select an individual route group to print.
    • Combine reports to the same email address: Select to only receive one email containing a merged PDF of all the routes in the group with their email address.
    • Include unacknowledged result reports for each stop: Select to include all unacknowledged result reports. This will include a copy of every unacknowledged result report for all stops in this route group. This marks all included reports as acknowledged.
      • Include Route Summary Page: Select this checkbox to allow the user to determine if they want to keep the Route Summary Pages as part of the reports for a route group when printing or emailing the reports.
    • Include completed tasks: Select to include completed tasks. Clearing this checkbox will remove all completed tasks from the report. If a route or route stop contains only completed tasks, then it will be removed as well.
    • Portrait: Select to have the report sent in portrait orientation.
    • Landscape: Select to have the report sent in landscape orientation.
    • Print Report: Select to print the report.
    • Cancel: Select to close the pop-up without printing the report. 
Start DateDisplays the start date.
End DateDisplays the end date.
Route CountDisplays the number of routes assigned to the route group.
CopySelect to create a new route group based on that existing group. The Edit Route Group pop-up appears with all the information copied except the Name. See Edit Route Group.
