Description
The AP Work Request page is a way to view and manage the work request items that were created for staff to complete work on cases. For example, you may create a work request for staff to:
- Make additional cuts on a block
- Arrange for send-out testing
- Gather historical materials for a patient
- Arrange for an external consultation
Work requests are generated via the AP Worksheet through the Create Work Request Pop-up (AP Worksheet > vertical ellipsis > Create Work Request Item) Once generated, the work request items appear on the AP Work Request page. Use the AP Work Request page to electronically track and modify work requests and add notes or special instructions for staff.

Work Request Filter
Use the Work Request Filter section to search for and set criteria to filter the work request list.
hide/show filter | Select the link to hide or show the work request filter. |

Change Log | Select to see a list of changes made to work requests. This allows you to see what has occurred with the work request records. |
Saved Criteria | Select in or begin typing in the field to search for and select a saved criteria. You can also create filters for commonly used search criteria. Edit: Select to edit the selected saved criteria. Add: Select to open the New Saved Criteria pop-up, where you can save commonly used search criteria to use again. |
Request assignee | Select in the field to search for and select a user to filter the work request list by. |
Case assignee | Select in the field to search for and select the case assignee to filter the work request list by. |
Created by | Select in the field to search for and select the user who created the request to filter the work request list by. |
Case priority | Select in the field to search for and select the case priority to filter the work request list by. |
Search | Select in the field to search by Case ID. |
Urgency | Select an urgency status to filter the work request list by. Options are:

Request Type | Select a type of request to filter the work request list by. Options are:

Result Status | Select a result status to filter the work request list by. Options are:

Create start Create end | Use the fields to filter the work request list by the date and time the work request was created or the date and time the work request ended. Select the Now button to use the current date and time. Select Clear to clear the fields. |
Work Request List
Use this section to review the work request items. The list shows work requests and their Type, Assigned To, Status, Urgency, Created By, Create Date, Update Date, Case ID, Case Assigned To, and Case Priority information.
Select the work request link in the Type column to open the Edit Work Request pop-up, where you can view or modify the work request details. (Work request types that create case materials such as blocks and slides will have their related options disabled when editing an existing work request.) At the bottom of the pop-up, you'll see a list of any saved notes for the work request. See Create Work Request Pop-up for details on the fields in the Edit Work Request pop-up.
Select | Use the Select checkbox in the Select column to choose one or more work requests to work with. |

Case ID | Select the case ID link in the Case ID column to open the AP Worksheet for the case. See AP Worksheet. |
Print AP Work Request | Select the button to generate a PDF of the current list with its current filter and sort applied. |
Bulk Actions | Select the button to perform bulk actions on the work requests selected in the table. Assign Work Requests: Select this option to assign (or modify the assignee for) the selected work requests. The selected work requests are added to the AP Processing List for staff to review and work on.
Change Status: Select this option to change the status of the selected work requests. Choose a status option of Pending, In Process, or Complete. Add Note: Select this option to add a note to the selected work requests. Use the Add Note pop-up to add comments or special instructions to the requests for staff to review. The pop-up lists the user who created the note and the date the note was modified, if applicable. Select Save to save the note to the selected work requests or select Cancel to cancel adding a note. |
Clear | Select the button to clear the selected items in the list. |
