Set ID

Select inside or enter text in the  search field to select a set ID. This  field allows an identifier to be specified for the test set. This setting is not required to be populated for the test set. If an unsolicited test results message is received from an ODE with a value specified in OBR-4, the system will look for the matching test set to use by seeing if the OBR-4 value matches the  Set ID  for any of the test sets on the instrument type.

If OBR-4 is blank, or does not match to any existing test sets, the system will continue with its previous functionality of selecting the test set based on the tests present in the message. If a solicited test results message is received from an ODE with a value specified in OBR-4, the system will look for the matching test set to use in the same way as unsolicited. If a matching test set is found for the value, and an order choice on the solicited order can use that test set, the matching test set will be used. If a matching test set is found for the value, but no order choice on the solicited order can use the test set, the results will not parse to the solicited order. If no matching test set is found for the value, the system will continue its previous functionality of selecting the test set based upon the tests present in the message.
