Description
Use the Delivery Scheduling page to set specific schedules for when the program should deliver accumulated results. You may define delivery schedules for each delivery method (fax, email, etc.) or for each recipient (users or locations); create different schedules for each day of the week; and set explicit times, time ranges, or intervals for delivery. Once you define the schedule on this page, you must set up the result delivery rule(s) for the selected delivery method on the Result Delivery Rule page to use scheduled delivery instead of immediate delivery. See the Result Delivery Rule topic.
You may view scheduled, but undelivered, reports on the Scheduled Delivery page. If you do not set a specific schedule on this page, the program delivers results to recipients when it receives the results from the laboratory and it verifies that all the delivery rules for the delivery method (set on the Result Delivery Rule page) are satisfied.
Note
A Result Delivery Rule needs to have the option Send by delivery method schedule selected under the Delivery Scheduling section to honor a schedule.

Establishing Delivery Method Schedules
| Remove Schedule | Select to remove an existing schedule. The program immediately removes that schedule. |

| Cancel | Select to cancel the change. |
| Add Schedule | Select to add a new schedule. The program automatically adds a new schedule that applies to all 24 hours of all seven days of the week. You may add as many schedules as you wish. |
| Days of the Week | Select the checkboxes that correspond to the days of the week on which the delivery should occur (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday). You must select at least one checkbox. |
| Only use specific times | Select this option to use only the specific times you enter on this page (see below). |
| All day | Select this option to have the schedule apply the entire day. |
| Starting at | Select this option, enter a range of time in the format HH:MM AM/PM for the Starting at ____ and through ____ values, and enter the number of minutes that the program should wait to send results in the Send reports every __ minutes. The program will only send reports during this time frame using the time interval. If you enter the same time for both ends of the range, The program will interpret this as a continuous 24 hour period of time and will send the results at the designated times during that period. Enter zero for the minute interval if you want the program to not send at all unless specific times have been added. |
| Add Specific Time | Select to enter one or more specific times for the program to deliver the results for the selected delivery method. |
| Cancel | Select to return to the previous page without saving your changes. |
| Save | Select to record your changes and return to the previous page. |
