Description
Use the Cumulative Report page to view the results for the selected patient. You may choose to create the report based on order choices or tests. By default, the system creates the report based on order choices. Note the following:
- You cannot print the order choice based cumulative report. If you wish to print the report, you must use the test based format.
- The order choice based cumulative report supports the standard report format, as well as any custom result body layout template; however, it does not support the Alternate Format 1 report format.
- The test-based cumulative report is similar to the format used in Harvest LIS.
Access
- Select Cumulative Report on the Order History page.

Setting the Order Choice Based Report Criteria
Order Choice Based Report | Base the report on order choices. |
---|---|
Order Choice Based Report (Inline) | Base the report on order choices, where if a single order choice's results don't fit in one page width, it will break at the end of the page and continue directly underneath it with more results for that same order choice. |
Order Choice Based Report (Grid) | Base the report on order choices, where if a single order choice's results don't fit in one page width, it will break at the end of the page and print a new page for each additional page width of results for that order choice. This format allows users to lay the result report out flat so all of one order choice's results will line up next to each other in a single row. |

Cumulative Report
The Cumulative Report page contains a history of test results over a selected date range. The report contains only approved results. If the report is longer than one page, use the scroll bar on the right side of the page to view the entire report.
- The order choice based report contains the following:
- The top of the report displays the patient's name and the date and time the report was created, followed by any available comments.
- The middle of the report displays the results for each selected order choice.
- There is a shaded header for each order choice that lists the host, sample ID, order status, approval date and time (if available), and collection date and time.
- There is a separate line for each test within the order choice that includes the result, reference range, and units of measure.
- If a result falls outside of the reference range for the test, the result is listed in red, and an H (High) or L (Low) appears next to the result.
- The bottom of the report lists the reporting laboratories, the page number, the patient's name, and the order ID.
- The test based report contains the following:
- The top of the report displays the date and time the report was created, as well as information about the patient (patient name, date of birth, patient ID, and primary provider).
- The middle of the report displays the results for each test included in a test group.
- There is a column for each collection date/time for the patient. You may modify how many collection dates are included by adjusting the report criteria. See "Setting the Test Based Report Criteria" above.
- There is a separate line for each test within the test group, and the system displays each test result in the column that corresponds to the collection date for the order that contained the test.
- If a result falls outside of the reference range for the test, the result is listed in red, and an H (High) or L (Low) appears next to the result.
- Depending on the settings for the test group, the system may display the test group name on a line above the tests in the test group to help separate the groups.
- The bottom of the report lists the title of the report and the page number.
