Description
Use the Add/Edit Recipient page to determine the recipient and recipient type for Patient Result Delivery to add to the Demographics page. You may select User, Location, Host, or External Recipient to receive the results. You may search for a specific name to be the recipient of the results.
Access
- Select Results To... on the Demographics page followed by Add on the Patient Result Delivery page.

Selecting Recipient Type
The Recipient Type section displays options that allows you to select a recipient type for the result delivery.
| User | Select the option if you wish to send results to a user that has access to patient information via the the program. |

| Location | Select the option if you wish to send results to a location rather than sending them to a specific person. |
| Host | Select the option if you wish to send results to a host interface rather than sending them to a specific person, i.e., an EMR, Harvest LIS, or another lab. |
| External Recipient | Select the option if you wish to send results to an external recipient. |
Selecting Recipient User Name
The Recipient section displays a search field that allows you to search for a specific person to send results to.
| User Name | Enter text into the search field to begin your search. This field is a search-as-you-type field and will display names appropriately as you type. You may also type in a full name into the field and select the magnifying glass icon to search. Results will display in sets of 10, and you may navigate pages by selecting the arrow buttons at the bottom of the results pop-up. You may also enter a number into the field to navigate straight to a specific page. The pop-up will display the name, ID, phone, contact fax, and contact email if available. Select a name to enter that person into the User Name field. |

| OK | Select to return to the Patient Result Delivery page. The recipient will now be added to the page. See the "Saving the Recipient to A Patient" section on the Patient Result Delivery page to save a recipient to a patient once the recipient details have been configured. |
