Description

Use the User Search page to select the desired the program user from the list of names that matched your search. The program may only display providers affiliated with the practices that the signed-in user is affiliated with when searching for an ordering provider, depending on where the signed-in user performs the search.

Note

The program will always display any users flagged as Always available as ordering provider, regardless of their practice affiliations.

Access

  • Enter one or more characters in the Ordering Provider search-as-you-type field on TaskCenter > Manage OrdersPending Orders; TaskCenter > Manage SamplesCollection List; TaskCenter > ReportsBilling Summary, Completion, Orders, and Standing Orders pages; and  AdminCenter > ReportsReimbursement Problem, Result DeliveryTurnaround Time, Utilization, or Order Exceptions pages.
  • Select Search next to the Ordering Provider search-as-you-type field on TaskCenter > Manage OrdersPending Collection page.
  • Select Search next to the Override Phlebotomist search-as-you-type field on TaskCenter > Manage Orders > Pending Collection and on TaskCenter > Manage Samples > Collection List pages.
  • Select Search next to the Current Phlebotomist search-as-you-type field or a provider search or user search user-defined field on AdminCenter > Manage OrdersOrder Patient Samples page.
  • Select Search next to the For User search-as-you-type field on AdminCenter > ManageScheduled Events page.
  • Select Search next to the Attending Provider or Referring Provider search-as-you-type fields on AdminCenter > Patient Setup > Encounter Info page.
  • Enter one or more characters in the Primary Care Provider search-as-you-type field on TaskCenter > Patient InfoDemographics page.
  • Enter one or more characters in the Other Delivery search-as-you-type field on TaskCenter > My PreferencesResult Delivery page.
  • Enter one or more characters in the associates search field on TaskCenter > My Preferences > Associates page or on AdminCenter > System SetupUsers page.
  • Enter one or more characters in the User Name field on the Add/Edit Recipient or Fax Recipient pages.
  • Enter one or more characters in the search field on the Restricted Access Table page.
  • Enter one or more characters in the Last Name, First Name, or User ID search-as-you-type fields on AdminCenter > MonitorChange Log or User Actions Log pages.
  • Select Add in the Message Recipients section on AdminCenter > ManageMessages at Sign-in page.
  • Select Staff Member when adding recipients for system-level notifications on the Critical Event Notifications page.

Note

If your search generates one or more matches, the matching the program user names are displayed. Each provider is listed with a NameIDPhone number, and Active status. If you access this page from the Result Recipients page, the program also lists Contact Fax and Contact Email information for each user.

If the list is longer than one page, use the page number links, located below the list of users, to navigate through the list. If there are more page links than can fit on the page at once, the program displays a field. Enter a number in this field and press the Enter key on the keyboard to immediately open the selected page.

Select the desired the program user to return to the preceding page with that user added to the page or field.

If there were no matches to your search, repeat the search, if desired.
