Description

Use the Requisitions page to view and print the details for the order. When creating requisitions, the program applies the requisition format selected for the host on the Hosts page, although it always uses the standard requisition format when it creates summary requisitions.

Note

You must have a PDF print driver installed in order to view and print requisitions.

  • If you do not have a PDF print driver installed, the program displays a page with instructions on how to obtain a PDF print driver.
  • If you do not wish to install a PDF driver, select Back to return to the previous page.

In order to show patient comments on standard requisitions and custom requisitions, the Display on requisition and manifest option must be selected for the comment on the Patient Comments page.

For custom requisitions, you must also add the Patient Comments content type to the requisition header when defining the requisition template.

Note

  • Depending on the administration settings for your signed-in location, the program may automatically print a requisition when you save a collected order.
  • Depending on the administration settings, the program may include patients' secondary insurance information, if available, on requisitions. Wen this is option is enabled, the program prints two columns of insurance information, though both could be blank if no information exists.
  • Depending on the administration settings, the ABN column on the requisition may display "N/A" for orders with non-Medicare insurance as the primary insurance on the order.
  • Depending on the administration settings for the hosts receiving the requisition, the program may include time zone abbreviations after all dates. The summary requisition also shows the time zone abbreviation after dates if there is a requisition to print for a host that has the Show time zone on requisition option enabled. The time zone on the requisition is based on the time zone of the person printing the requisition.
  • Depending on the administration settings for the host receiving the requisition, the program may display a bar code of the sample ID next to the sample ID field.
