Description

Use the Required Info page to enter missing information that is required by your location to save orders (e.g., patient demographic information).

Access

This page appears automatically when you save an order on the Order Patient Samples page, the patient does not have an address on file, and the administration setting for your signed-in location or for an order choice requires the patient's address.

Entering Required Information

Displays the fields that are currently empty for the patient but are defined as required by your location. System administrators may create the location-specific required information on the Locations page. Note that a system administrator may assign a security right to one or more roles to disregard required fields, if appropriate.

Patient DemographicsThe patient's address, city, state, and ZIP code may be required. Complete these fields as you would on the Demographics page. See the Demographics topic.
CancelSelect to return to the Order Patient Samples page to modify the order or access the patient's record.
