Description

The Metacontainer Inquiry pop-up is intended to give a detailed view of the current state of the metacontainer. This includes the type, identifier, and description along with its current location in the storage hierarchy and its current contents.

Metacontainer Details

TypeDisplays the type of metacontainer.
IdentifierDisplays the metacontainer identifier.
DescriptionDisplays a description of the metacontainer.
Container ParentsDisplays the indented view of all parents of the metacontainer. This shows where the metacontainer is currently stored. As is the case for any metacontainer ID that appears in the system, the ID of each metacontainer in the storage hierarchy brings up the context menu for that metacontainer.
Options 

Select this button to display a contextual menu of options that can be performed on this metacontainer:

  • Transfer: Populate the Transfer Metacontainer pop-up's worklist with this metacontainer. Once on the Transfer Metacontainer pop-up, the options to show parent and children metacontainers and samples can be selected to transfer the contents to this metacontainer.
  • Create Manifest: Populate the Create Manifest page with all samples contained in this metacontainer.
  • Dispose: Open the Dispose Metacontainer Pop-up with this metacontainer as the root in the tree view.
  • Metacontainer History: Open the Metacontainer History Pop-up to be able to view the history of events that have occurred on the metacontainer.
  • Edit: Open the Edit Metacontainer Pop-up to edit this metacontainer.
  • Print Details: Open a PDF on the Metacontainer Inquiry Pop-up. Select OK to print the PDF.

CountDisplays the container count.
RowDisplays the row.
ColumnDisplays the column.
Container IDDisplays the container ID. Select the blue link to view an options context menu.
Container TypeDisplays the container type.
DescriptionDisplays a description of the container.
TemperatureDisplays the temperature for the container.
Testing HostDisplays the testing host for the container.
CloseSelect this button to close the pop-up.
