Description

The Issue Microbiology Report pop-up allows you to issue a microbiology report.

Access

TaskCenter > Manage Testing > Work in Process > Microbiology Work Card pop-up > Reports tab > Save and Issue Microbiology Report button

Issue Micro Report pop-up

Report Type

Enter text or select in this search-as-you-type field to select a report type.

Note

This field limits the available report types based on the state of the work card:

  • If a final report has not been issued and there are tests or isolates with a workup status of In Process or Secondary Review Required, only preliminary report types are available.
  • If a final report has not been issued and all tests or isolates have a workup status of Complete or Not Clinically Significant, both preliminary and final report types are available.
  • If a final report has been issued, only amended and addendum report types are available.
  • If a final report has not been issued, and the minimum number of preliminary reports designated on the order choice build have not been met, only a preliminary report should be available regardless of all tests or isolates that have a workup status of Complete or Not Clinically Significant.

This field also limits the available report types based on the reopened status:

  • If the report is reopened as amendment, only amendment report types will appear.
  • If the report is reopened as addendum, only addendum report types will appear.
  • If the report has not been reopened, neither of those types will appear.

Note

Suppressed antibiotics appear in the left pane (but not on the right pane report preview), but can only be manipulated from the Susceptibilities tab on the Work Card.

Flag Culture ToSelect an option from this drop-down list to change the culture-level flag: Normal, Abnormal, Critical.
Flag iconSelect this icon to open a contextual menu of options to change the culture-level flag: Flag Culture To Normal, Flag Culture to Abnormal, Flag Culture To Critical.
Select Reportable Information

Use the toggle buttons to select the items you want to display on the report.

Flag icons appears next to abnormal and critical isolate organism items.

Preview

This section displays a preview of the report once a report type is selected.

Flag text appears next to abnormal and critical organisms.


Buttons

Issue ReportSelect this button to apply any changes and issue the report.
CancelSelect this button to return to the Microbiology Work Card Pop-up. Any unsaved changes will be cancelled.
