Description
Use the Add/Edit Patient Comment page to add or edit the comments that will be linked to the current patient.
Access
- Select Add on the Patient Comments page.
- Select the entered date of a comment in the Patient Comments page.

Adding Comments
Enter the desired text for the comment in the text field.
| ... | Select to open the Quick Comments Pop-up, where you may modify which predefined comments to include in the order comment. |

| Insert Date/time | Select to insert the current date and time where the cursor is located in the text field. If the cursor is not in the text field, The program inserts the date and time at the beginning of the field. |
| Display on lab report | Select this option to include this comment on the printed report for this order. |
| Display on requisition and manifest | Select this option to include this comment on the printed requisition and manifest. The standard manifest does not include patient comments. You will need to have a system administrator create a custom manifest that includes patient comments for them to display. |
| Display on form letter | Select this option to include this comment on form letters. |
| Cancel | Select to return to the Patient Comments page without saving your changes. |
| Save | Select to save the modifications to the comment and return to the Patient Comments page. |
Editing Comments
The current comment text is displayed when the page appears. Modify the text for the comment as desired.
