Description
Use the Network Label Printers page to add or edit the printers available to assign to locations and users in the Locations page and the Application page. Because using this feature enables the server to print the labels directly, there is no way of alerting users to any errors, so the system sends errors to the Error Log instead of displaying a message.

Network Label Printer | Select this option if the printer being used is a network label printer.
|
RAPS Label Printer | Select this option if the printer being used is a RAPS label printer. If you select this option as well as the Labeler option from the Printer Type drop-down field, the network printer name is no longer a required field and a note will explain that if no network printer name is defined, labels will be printed to the default printer selected in the Labeler executable configuration.
See the RAPS Search topic. Note The system displays remote label printing jobs in the label printing outbound queue. |
Harvest Workstation Label Printer | Select this option if the printer being used is a Harvest Workstation label printer.
|
Device Engine Label Printer | Select this option if the printer being used is an ODE label printer. When a network label printer is defined as an ODE printer, labels are sent to the ODE to be printed on the configured label printer instead of sending the label directly to the label printer. This allows labels to be printed to a label printer that the system cannot access directly on its network. For Device Engine Label Printers, you can select from the Printer Type field EPL2, ZPL II, or Labeler.
