Use the Medication Class Maintenance page to manage and maintain medication classes.

Medication Class Maintenance
| Medication Class Name | Enter text in the search-as-you-type field to filter the table based on the medication class name. |

| Select the checkbox to filter the table by medication class names that are active in the system. | |
| Add | Select to open the Medication Class pop-up. Enter the class name in the Class Name field. Select the Active checkbox to make the medication class active in the system. Select in or enter text into the Associated Medications search-as-you-type field. The table displays the name, aliases, class, any favorite list, as well as the active status of the medication class. Select the magnifying glass icon to manually search for a medication. Select Add to add the medication class, or select X to remove it from the table. The table displays the medication name and active status. Select Save to save changes made on the pop-up, or select Cancel to close the pop-up without saving any changes. Select Change Log to view information on the Change Log. |

| Show ___ entries | Enter a value in the field to specify how many results are displayed on the table. |
Medication Class - Associated Medications
| Class Name | Enter the class name in the field. |

| Change Log | Select to view information on the Change Log. |
| Active | Select the checkbox to make the medication class active in the system. |

| Medication Name | Displays the medication name. |
