Use the Medication Class Maintenance page to manage and maintain medication classes.

Medication Class Maintenance

Medication Class NameEnter text in the search-as-you-type field to filter the table based on the medication class name.
Select the checkbox to filter the table by medication class names that are active in the system.
Add

Select to open the Medication Class pop-up.

Enter the class name in the Class Name field.

Select the Active checkbox to make the medication class active in the system.

Select in or enter text into the Associated Medications search-as-you-type field. The table displays the name, aliases, class, any favorite list, as well as the active status of the medication class.

Select the magnifying glass icon to manually search for a medication.

Select Add to add the medication class, or select X to remove it from the table.

The table displays the medication name and active status.

Select Save to save changes made on the pop-up, or select Cancel to close the pop-up without saving any changes.

Select Change Log to view information on the Change Log.

NameDisplays the medication class name.
ActiveDisplays the active status of the medication class name.
Show ___ entriesEnter a value in the field to specify how many results are displayed on the table.


Medication Class - Associated Medications

Class NameEnter the class name in the field.
Change LogSelect to view information on the Change Log.
ActiveSelect the checkbox to make the medication class active in the system.
Associated Medications

Select in or enter text into the search-as-you-type field.

The table displays the name, aliases, class, any favorite list, as well as the active status of the medication class.

Select the magnifying glass icon to manually search for a medication.

AddSelect to add the medication class, or select X to remove it from the table.
Medication NameDisplays the medication name.
ActiveDisplays the active status of the medication.
SaveSelect to save changes made on the pop-up.
CancelSelect to close the pop-up without saving any changes.
