Notes on Orchard Trellis Web Point-of-Care Application Server Deployment

• The Copia web Orchard application servers must maintain less than 1ms latency to the database server due to heavy transactional interactions.
• In a virtual environment, the required memory must be 100% statically allocated or marked as reserved.
• If automated faxing will be deployed, a physical server is required due to telephony requirements.
• For any Orchard Trellis Point-of-Care deployment, you must have a minimum of 4 web servers (5 if using automated faxing)application servers. Additional Orchard Trellis web Point-of-Care application servers may be deployed for the purposes of scalability to accommodate larger volume organizations.
