Description

The condition allows the user to create a set of condition groups that will trigger the rule when true. The test condition groups can be created based upon the test name, result value, abnormal flags value, and the result comment value.

Edit Test Conditions CPT Rule

All Test Condition groups are metSelect the option to establish whether the condition will apply to all test condition groups that are met.
Any Test Condition group is metSelect the option to establish whether the condition will apply to any test condition groups that are met.
Evaluate result comment lists with no comments as an empty result commentSelect the checkbox to allow no comments to be treated as blank comments. This corrects an issue when a rule is set to evaluate Does Not Contain or Is Empty and would not fire if there was no comment.
Add GroupSelect to add a test condition group to the page.
Add Test Condition

Select to add a test condition in the Test Condition Group section.

Select Remove Group to remove the test condition group from the page.

Test NameDisplays the test name.
Result Value to CompareDisplays the result value to compare.
Result ValueDisplays the result value.
Abnormal Flags ValueDisplays abnormal flags, if any.
Result Comment ValueDisplays the result comment value.
DeleteSelect to delete the test condition.
Test Name

Select an option from the drop-down list: Begins WithBegins With (cs)ContainsContains (cs)Is Equal ToIs Equal To (cs)Applies To Any Test, or Match Specific Tests.

  • Select Applies To Any Test to make the test condition apply to any test in the system.
  • Select Match Specific Tests to make the test condition match to a specific test in the system.
  • Enter a test name in the Test Name field.
Result Value to Compare

Select an option from the drop-down list to control what part of a Result Value column should apply to. Select either Reportable ValueNumeric Part, Text Part, or Toxicology Consistency from the drop-down list. For Toxicology Consistency, when selected, the toxicology consistency part of a result's answer will be used in the rule's condition. 

  • Enter a value in the Result Value field.
Abnormal Flags Value

Select an option from the drop-down list to specify how the test should work with the abnormal flags value: Begins WithBegins With (cs)ContainsContains (cs)Is Equal ToIs Equal To (cs), or Is Not Used.

  • Enter a value in the Abnormal Flags Value field.
Result Comment Value

Select an option from the drop-down list to specify how the test should work with the result comment value: Begins WithBegins With (cs)ContainsContains (cs)Does Not ContainDoes Not Contain (cs)Is Equal ToIs Equal To (cs)Is Not Equal ToIs Not Equal To (cs)Is Greater ThanIs Less ThanIs EmptyIs Not Empty, or Is Not Used.

  • Enter a value in the Result Comment Value field.
XSelect to remove the test from the page.
Save

Select to return to the CPT Rule administration page to continue creating or editing the rule. A summary of the test condition will appear next to the Add Test Condition button on the CPT Rules page. 

You must select Save on the Hosts administration page in order to finalize the changes you make on this page.
