For workstations only: Windows 11 has been validated for only Orchard Harvest 14 and 15, Orchard Pathology 14 and 15, and Orchard Enterprise Lab 9 and above. To upgrade your Windows operating system, Orchard Software recommends that our users be running Orchard Harvest 15, Orchard Pathology 15, or Orchard Outreach 9.0.211217 and above.

Consult the Orchard Software product-specific details from the Hardware Specifications - Orchard Products and the Supported Microsoft Windows Operating Systems articles to determine the compatible operating systems for your Orchard Software product.

Be advised that Orchard Harvest and Orchard Enterprise systems are not supported on the following:

  • Apple macOS
  • ChromeOS
  • Linux operating systems
    • Including Ubuntu, Fedora, and Debian
  • BSD operating systems
    • Including FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and NetBSD
  • Unix operating systems
    • Including Solaris and Advanced Interactive Executive (AIX)
  • Apple iOS*
  • Android*
  • Haiku
  • OpenIndiana OS
  • ReactOS
  • AROS Research Operating System
  • All other operating systems that are not Microsoft Windows

While a client may choose to use a different operating system, Orchard Software is unable to provide assistance with troubleshooting environmental issues as Orchard Software only supports the operating systems specifically mentioned in the Hardware Specifications for each product.

 * Mobile devices using mobile operating systems may be used to access the Orchard Mobile module of Orchard Enterprise using either a Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser.
